Adam Silver has been critical of players like Kevin Durant who request or demand trades whenever they feel like but Doug contends that Silver is partly to blame. While Silver technically works for the owners, Silver has been possibly the most player friendly Commissioner in the history of the NBA. After years of letting players get over, he shouldn't be surprised they feel entitled asking for trades whenever they want.
Doug Gottlieb: “He works for the owners, not the players, and yet he has been completely pro player, to the detriment of the league...if you don’t do anything to reel your employees in, that’s how they act. Don’t be surprised!”
