On Thursday’s edition of “Straight Outta Vegas with RJ Bell,” RJ and AJ Hoffman explain Vegas’ reaction to Shohei Ohtani’s exceptional performance his last outing. AJ reveals that the market now labels him as the AL MVP favorite over Aaron Judge.

AJ Hoffman: “Ohtani has 6 consecutive wins when he pitches, and last night, allowed his first run since June 9th. Since June, the Angels are 6-1 in Ohtani’s starts. When he doesn’t pitch, the Angels are 6-26.”
RJ Bell: “Entering the season, Aaron Judge was an 18-1 longshot to win the MVP. By June 22nd he was minus money, and is now +140. Ohtani started the season +325 to win the MVP, and is now one of the favorites. This goes to show that one game out of 162, can swing the odds massively.”
