Reports surfaced this week that a clause in Kyler Murray's new contract extension stipulates that he must complete 4 hours of "independent study" each week of the season. Ben Maller thinks that this is a referendum on Kyler Murray.
Ben Maller: "By putting this in the contract, the Cardinals have announced: 'You know what Maller? You're right. We don't really wanna give this contract out to Kyler Murray...Can you imagine having to put a clause like this in an agreement to pay an athlete $230 million? It is equal parts hilarious and horrendous at the same time."
