This is the first of a domino effect of moves. They are trading Russell Westbrook & they are somehow going to get Kyrie Irving. This tells me the Lakers are going to be able to accomplish what they want to do, get rid of Russell Westbrook & bring in Kyrie Irving. Next two moves, Westbrook out, Kyrie in!”
Mike Harmon: “Pat Bev is an agitator, that’s what he does best. Remember, Beverley and Westbrook don’t get along, did the Lakers think of this? THT was just another player, they tried to flash him but all they could end up getting is Beverley. I get where you’re coming from with the domino effect but maybe Pat and Russ can play together?
Tonight on the Jason Smith Show, Jason & Mike Harmon broke the news of Utah Jazz guard Patrick Beverley getting traded to the Los Angeles Lakers for Talen Horton-Tucker & Stanley Johnson. The two both agree that they like the trade for the Lakers but it was a shocking move at the same time. Jason believes that this is the beginning of a domino effect of trades for the Lakers. Mike understands where Jason is coming from but at the same time he thinks the Lakers may try and work it out between Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverley when it comes to their drama.
