Cowboys Are Doomed With or Without Dak Prescott

Wednesday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, the Cowboys keep Dak Prescott off the IR in hopes that he can return early and salvage the season. LaVar believes the offense is a liability with or without Dak under center. Jonas says it's a mistake to rush Dak back because the odds say their season is already over. And Brady points out how Jerry and Stephen Jones mismanaged the team from the beginning.

LaVar Arrington: "Dallas was going to struggle anyway. Almost in a way, it gives them a reprieve because you don't have to take these L's that you're going to take with Dak Prescott as the quarterback. It almost makes it a little bit better to lose without Dak than to lose with him."
Jonas Knox: "One week in, you didn't even get through the full game and I think Dallas is in a spot where they're going to maybe rush him back too soon, he's not going to be anywhere close to 100 percent. Their season's over. And now we're looking at potentially a lot of overhaul and changes at several spots, not just head coach in the offseason."
Brady Quinn: "If this does lead to a change at head coach, it's been assumed that Dan Quinn would be a guy they'd look at, but there's also Sean Payton who's sitting out there. It would be fascinating if Sean Payton was like, 'Ah, I don't know if I want to deal with that mess.'
Because it's a circus, right? The Dallas Cowboys are in this situation for Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones not allocating more of their salary cap to a backup and making sure they had that in place considering potential O-Line issues and the injury history of your quarterback. If you really felt like you were competing for a Super Bowl, you would have had your roster more buttoned up by this point."
