Chris Broussard: "The players are the only ones that can turn this thing around. LeBron is the face of the league, bravo to him. This is one of his stronger statements he’s made, this is big time. I think LeBron should organize something behind the scenes to get Sarver out as well. I wouldn’t doubt it if he did, this is not acceptable!"
Rob Parker: "Well said LeBron James, give it up! He nailed it Chris! I'd like to say, Adam Silver has fake muscles. When the players called out Donald Sterling for what he did, they decided they weren't going to play in the playoffs that season if he stayed as owner... Adam Silver then went to the other owners and what did the other owners do? They quickly threw Donald Sterling overboard! It’s about the players, if the players don’t make a stink about Sarver sticking around then he’s going nowhere. For example, if players refuse to play in Phoenix, he’ll be gone! LeBron covered all the bases in his tweet."
Tonight on The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard & Rob Parker, the two talk about the investigation currently taking place with Phoenix Suns owner, Robert Sarver who has been suspended by the NBA for one year with a 10 million dollar fine. The guys reacted to LeBron James tweet that stated, “I gotta be honest... Our league definitely got this wrong. I don’t need to explain why. Y’all read the stories and decide for yourself. I said it before and I’m gonna say it again, there is no place in this league for that kind of behavior.” Chris & Rob couldn’t agree more with LeBron’s statement and they are not happy with Adam Silver’s actions as they believe this punishment is not enough!
