There’s a big difference between being ‘hurt’ and ‘injured’ and with Lamar Jackson missing the Ravens’ last four games, Doug thinks there’s something more about the former MVP’s lack of availability. No one’s accusing Lamar of feigning injury, but Doug believes there’s enough information to determine that Lamar might be trying to prove an unnecessarily bigger point.
Doug Gottlieb: “Without Lamar Jackson saying, ‘I’m not playing until the playoffs because of my contract,’ we have enough other data to think this is kind of weird here. I’m guessing that no fierce competitor is going to miss Steeler week because your knee hurts, unless you’re trying to prove a bigger point. But I don’t think there’s a point to be proved.”
