New York Jets Offensive Rookie of the Year Finalist, WR Garrett Wilson joins Doug Gottlieb on The Doug Gottlieb Show. They talk about the ups and downs of this past season and how much he learned from the veterans on the team. And he reacts to the news that he has a new Offensive Coordinator in Nathaniel Hackett and says he can’t wait to start learning his new offense and find out what his role will be. He’s hoping to evolve like Davante Adams (his favorite player growing up) and hopes Hackett is the man to take him to that level. Lastly, he is excited to see his picture on a Panini America trading card, and remembers the exact play the pic came from.

Doug Gottlieb: “Nathaniel Hackett’s your new Offensive Coordinator, what was your first reaction when you heard the news?”

Garrett Wilson: “Yeah, I saw it this morning when I woke up and I can’t say I know much about him. But for me it’s something new and we got to check into the facility and I’m looking forward to doing that you know, learning something new and having a chance to play that role, whatever role they got for me, to the best of my ability when the season comes around. So I’m excited to see what this offseason brings and learn a new offense.”
