New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers held his introductory news conference today and Doug thinks this was a win-win-win trade. The Packers finally get to move on, Aaron Rodgers gets the chance to prove he can win elsewhere, and the Jets get possibly the best QB in the league who is carrying not just a chip on his shoulder, but a full bag of chips. He's clearly got something to prove after the Packers decided to move on without him.
Doug Gottlieb: “He doesn’t carry a chip on his shoulder, he’s got a bag of chips. It both motivates him but also can deplete him as well...He feels the weight of expectations and when things aren’t going well, he allows those same chips that motivated him to weigh him down.”
