Kansas City Chiefs TE and defending Super Bowl Champion, Travis Kelce joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show. They talk about his experience on draft day as we count down to tomorrow’s NFL Draft and reacts to his scouting report from when he entered the league. He says he has the football he caught for a TD in the Super Bowl in his locker. He says he’s finally sobered up from their championship celebration and is looking forward to partying with the local fans to celebrate the draft in Kansas City tomorrow night. And he weighs in on what it would take for him to surpass Rob Gronkowski’s illustrious career as the NFL’s greatest tight end.
Dan Patrick: “What do you need to do to surpass Gronk, in your mind?”
Travis Kelce: “Surpass? Aw man, I just want to get as many Super Bowls as he does.”
Dan: “OK.”
Travis: “If I do that, I’ve at least, in my mind, leveled the playing field. I think championships mean everything.”
