Doug warns everyone not to overreact to Golden State’s big win in game 2 of their series over Los Angeles, but he is concerned about the ability of the Lakers to keep up with the Warriors. The Lakers simply looked exhausted. LeBron James may be in the best condition of any 38-year-old ever, he’s still a 38-year-old man playing a younger man’s game and he just can’t recover like he used to.
Doug Gottlieb: “What I would freak out about was; the Lakers looked exhausted. Exhausted! And when you’re 38-years-old, even when you’re in the greatest shape of any 38-year-old in the history of earth and that’s LeBron James, you don’t just recover.”
