Doug reacts to the breaking news that the Golden State Warriors are making a deal to trade Jordan Poole to the Washington Wizards for Chris Paul. Considering Chris Paul plays the same position as Steph Curry, it appears to Doug like the Warriors aren’t planning to keep Paul, they just wanted to get rid of Jordan Poole and needed Paul’s salary to even out the trade. It’s apparent that nobody in Golden State wants Poole around and this is will make him somebody else’s problem.
Doug Gottlieb: “They get out of the Jordan Poole business; they get into the Chris Paul business. Of course I believe he could still be waived after the 28th, and so that would be interesting if that’s what they did it for, is to get Jordan Poole off their books.”
