Los Angeles Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani has been to target of trade rumors all season as he continues to do things unheard of in the game of baseball including being on pace to challenge the AL HR record set by Yankees slugger Aaron Judge last season. Doug, a lifelong Angels fan, thinks they’d be foolish to trade Ohtani while he continues to draw big numbers at the gate, even if they aren’t going to be in contention for a title. They should wait until the offseason and then do what they need to do.
Doug Gottlieb: “If he’s going for Aaron Judge’s record and you can draw 4 million people, don’t you keep him? You’re not trading, in season, the guy who might break Aaron Judge’s homerun record!”
