Rob Parker: “I know it’s only three games into the season, but after witnessing that game, I’m convinced the Broncos players have quit on Sean Payton. Do you know how hard it is to give up 70 points in an NFL game? ... It happened with Urban Meyer in Jacksonville. He came with a resume that was suitable for framing, and went to Jacksonville where there were no expectations. It immediately went up in flames. There was so much bravado with him coming in. He sat on Colin’s couch ripping every NFL coach, he ripped Nathaniel Hackett for no reason, and did what coaches never do. There’s a thing called karma, and now he’s up there with the worst coaching performance in NFL history.”
Chris Broussard: “If you look at some of those touchdowns, there were three or four defenders getting their hands on the Dolphins runners. Their tackling was junior high level. I can’t fathom that after just three games they’ve already quit on Sean Payton.”
