The Colorado Buffaloes squeaked out a close win over the Arizona State Sun Devils and QB Shedeur Sanders took the opportunity to taunt the Sun Devil’s fans by flashing his $70,000 watch at them after the victory. Doug Gottlieb is less annoyed by Shedeur’s behavior than he is by everyone who seems to be dismissing it, including his father and head coach, Deion Sanders. It wasn’t the worst thing a QB has ever done but it WAS poor sportsmanship and should be acknowledged as such. After all, if had been just about any other QB, they’d have been called out by coaches and fans alike.
Doug Gottlieb: “It’s the ultimate taunting, it’s spoiled rich guy stuff, and if it was anybody else, that’s what we would say about it...and again, it’s not Shedeur (Sanders), it’s the reaction to Shedeur, and frankly, his dad’s reaction.”
