New York Jets fans are filled with some optimism after some speculation that Aaron Rodgers may return from his injury sooner than expected, but Doug Gottlieb throws a wet blanket on their hopes for this season. Firstly, Rodgers won’t be back nearly as soon as they anticipate so his contribution will be minimal to non-existent. And secondly, they don’t have the skill or discipline to remain in playoff contention whether Rodgers is playing or not.
