Kirk Cousins is More of a Gamble Than People Realize

Jason Smith: "Since Kirk Cousins got to Minnesota, he has had the best receiver groups in the game. He started out with Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen, who were two of the top five receivers in the game. Then he went from Diggs and Thielen, to Justin Jefferson, who is a top-2 receiver in the game, and TJ Hockenson, who is a top-3 tight end. He has had all kinds of great receivers to throw to. Now in Atlanta, he's throwing to Drake London, who has been okay, and Kyle Pitts, who has been disappointing. You're asking Cousins to make them great. Is he that guy? Is he someone who has succeeded cause he's had some of the best targets in the game the last 6 years? Or is he someone that can make anybody great? That's a gamble."
Mike Harmon: "Even with those great receivers, what did they win? One playoff game. That's it."

Jason Smith and Mike Harmon react to the Atlanta Falcons signing Kirk Cousins. The guys break down why there is a dark side to signing Cousins, as Cousins will be supported by an offensive squad that does not have the same level of talent he benefited from throughout his career in Minnesota.
