Free agent wide receiver Calvin Ridley is reportedly signing with the Tennessee Titans as part of a four-year deal, worth up to $92 million with $50 million fully guaranteed, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
"Sources: The #Titans are signing #Jaguars star WR Calvin Ridley, completing their FA with a splash. A stunner!! The 29-year old Ridley gets a 4-year, $92M deal with $50M fully guaranteed on a contract negotiated by @DavidMulugheta and Reza Hesam of @AthletesFirst," Rapoport wrote on his X account.
Ridley spent the past season with the AFC South Division rival Jacksonville Jaguars after being acquired in a trade from the Atlanta Falcons while serving a yearlong suspension in 2022 for betting on NFL games during the 2021 season before being reinstated last March.
The former University of Alabama standout recorded 76 receptions for 1,016 yards and eight touchdowns, starting in all 17 of the Jaguars' regular season games in 2023. Rapoport acknowledged that the Jaguars and New England Patriots were expected to be the favorites to land Ridley prior to the former first-round pick signing with Tennessee.
"No, no, it is the Tennessee Titans quietly lurking, working and now landing a top free agent receiver for a massive, massive move for the Titans."
