It seems like a no-brainer that the Indiana Fever’s first overall draft pick, Caitlin Clark will be part of the US Women’s Olympic Basketball Team, but Doug Gottlieb wonders what kind of reception she will get from teammates if she is selected. He thinks she’ll probably get more vitriol from other women than she will ever receive from misogynistic men. After all, she’ll still be a rookie in the WNBA and won’t even have played a full season by the time the Paris games begin.
Doug Gottlieb: “Here’s a woman (Caitlin Clark); she will have played half one season when the Olympics start. I’m interested to see how the other ladies treat her and if they’re as catty as I think they’ll be.”
