On today's edition of The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker, Chris and Rob react to the news that Denver Nuggets G Jamal Murray avoiding suspension after he threw a heat pack towards an official in Game 1 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Chris Broussard: “The entire situation is so egregious. If I’m the commissioner, I don’t even care what the rules say, you cannot throw something onto the court when players are playing. I would’ve suspended him. I understand there's not a cut and dry rule, but by the league not suspending him, they’re throwing a loop hole since they DON’T want to suspend him."
Rob Parker: “They didn’t have a leg to stand on. The league didn’t have a precedent to suspend him since it didn’t hit anyone. They did the only thing they could do by fining him."
