No Excuses Left for the Celtics

The Eastern Conference Finals get underway tonight in Boston as the Indiana Pacers come to town for Game 1. The Celtics have been flirting with winning a title in the past few years and, with a lack of stars left in the NBA Playoffs, the pressure is on to get it done this season. Add to that the high expectations of the fans in Boston and failure to finish would be a monumental disappointment.

Dan Patrick: “The playoffs are missing a lot of familiar faces when you think about it. So, no LeBron (James), no Steph (Curry), no KD (Kevin Durant), no Joker (Nikola Jokić), and the lack of former champs feels like there is even more pressure building in Boston, and rightfully so. This has been like a half a decade here that they’ve been flirting with winning a title...So, no stars then no excuses. They should win”
