The Los Angeles Lakers are considering hiring JJ Redick as their next head coach and somehow longtime NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith found a way to make it about race. Doug Gottlieb is incensed by Smith’s audacity, and he finds this type of race-baiting to be disgraceful and, honestly, pure evil. He is creating strife and conflict where there is none, and for no good reason.
Doug Gottlieb: “The only one who’s making it out to be a racial thing is Stephen A. Smith...He is creating this. This is, honestly, pure evil. That’s what bad people do...and stoking the racial flame is disgraceful. It is race-baiting.”
