LeBron James has agreed to a 2-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers shortly after his son Bronny signed a rare 4-year deal as a 2nd round pick and Doug Gottlieb is feeling deceived. Head coach JJ Redick claims that Bronny “earned” his opportunity when we all know the kid wouldn’t have been drafted if it weren’t for his famous daddy, and pretending otherwise is just insulting.
Doug Gottlieb: “Now I feel insulted...JJ Redick yesterday had the chutzpah...to say that Bronny James has earned, EARNED his spot on the Lakers... When you look America in the eye and say Bronny James has earned being on the Lakers, anybody who has any sort of brain no longer takes you seriously.”
