Colin Cowherd: “These are my five ‘bold’ predictions. I could make ‘easy’ ones -- ‘JOSH ALLEN IS GOING TO BE GOOD!’... ‘ANDY REID WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!’... No, I don’t choose that. I’m not looking to be perfect; I’m going to take some BOLD predictions.
I think Jordan Love wins the MVP. The last ten starts last year he was the best quarterback in football. I think there’s voter fatigue with Lamar, Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers, Mahomes.. We want a new story. The media likes ‘stories’ and he’s fresh and he’s fun. I think the Packers are stacked offensively with an offensive coach, Josh Jacobs, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Luke Musgrave, Christian Watson... Last year, their offense at the end of the year was like ‘WHOA, WHAT DO WE GOT HERE??’... Young quarterback, generationally aligned with all his young receivers, tight ends, and o-linemen – I think this offense is MAGIC this year.”
Watch Colin Cowherd of FS1’s The Herd predict who his unlikely pick for NFL MVP will be for the upcoming season, as Colin lists his ‘five bold predictions’ with the regular season less than three weeks away.
Colin believes Packers quarterback Jordan Love will win the award coming off a season in which he ranked 7th in passing yards and 2nd in touchdown passes. Love is currently sitting at 14-1 to win the MVP on many major sportsbooks, trailing Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, CJ Stroud, Joe Burrow, and Jalen Hurts.
