Tommy John: My Cast Is in the Smithsonian and I Should Be in Cooperstown

Former MLB pitcher Tommy John joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the famous arm surgery that was named after him. He talks about his career and thinks the surgery is actually hurting his chances to get into the Baseball Hall of Fame. They reminisce about his highlights (and lowlights) and he regales DP with some crazy stories from his years in the major leagues.

Tommy John: “I have the cast that Dr. Jobe put on me after the surgery and my wife Cheryl and I decided that we wanted to donate it to a charity, and we donated it to the Smithsonian Institute.”
