The Yankees managed to extend the World Series to a fifth game last night and all anybody is talking about are the fans who wrestled a foul ball out of Dodgers RF Mookie Betts in the first inning. Dan tries to fathom what they were thinking, and more importantly, how they could possibly be allowed back into Yankees Stadium after basically assaulting Betts. Yet they were given a hero’s welcome as they were being ejected simply for acting like idiots.
Dan Patrick: “So they drove in from Connecticut and then you get there, and then you get kicked out in the first inning. And what I’m told is, that doesn’t mean they can’t go tonight, which shocks me. There’s one more game left in Yankees Stadium. You just say, ‘And you can’t come back for game five either.’ Because they were getting a hero’s welcome as they’re being escorted out. You had grown men who were, you know, they were hugging them! I’m like; what did they do!?! Just act like idiots...”
