Dan confirms that the sky is, in fact, falling in Dallas as the Cowboys drop to 3-7 after getting rolled by the Houston Texans last night. He thinks their problems go much deeper than the season-ending injury to QB Dak Prescott and he details the mountain they need to climb if they want to return to their former glory. And they still have three stand-alone games this season which probably has some NFL executives wringing their hands at the thought of presenting more blow-out losses by the Cowboys to their fans around the country.
Dan Patrick: “After three straight 12-win season, the sky is falling in Dallas, literally and figuratively. The team came in with playoff aspirations, maybe Super Bowl aspirations, but here we are 10 games deep and it’s time to accept the Cowboys for who they really are...and this isn’t all just, “Hey, Dak (Prescott) got injured!’ This is a bad team.”
