The Philadelphia 76ers have opened the season 2-12 and that might not be the worst of it. Their young superstar, Tyrese Maxey is already calling out their MVP, Joel Embiid. Embiid is showing up late for team activities and won’t be playing in any back-to-back games this season. And often-injured Paul George is unsurprisingly injured again. Dan has understandable doubts about their chances to even make the playoffs this season despite having been a top 10 preseason favorite.

He’s not playing back-to-back games and then one of your youngest players, your best player right now, is calling out Joel Embiid. What could go wrong that hasn’t already gone wrong? (It) feels like this is not playoff-bound for Philadelphia.”
