LOS ANGELES, December 18, 2024 – This past weekend, FOX Sports Radio (FSR) personalities Steve Covino and Rich Davis – hosts of the network’s popular weekday afternoon program Covino & Rich – celebrated their 20th year on-air together.
As the duo celebrates this special milestone, their FSR program, which debuted in September 2022, airs on more than 300 stations nationwide and continues to experience double-digit audience growth. In the Spring 2024 ratings book, Covino & Rich’s audience grew 47% year-to-year with Adults 25-54, and in the Fall 2023 survey, they were up 22% year-to-year in the same demo (Source: Nielsen Audio, SP’24 v SP’23 & FA’23 v FA’22, Nationwide, Exact Times, AQH, P25-54).
“Crazy thing is, we feel like we’re doing our best work at FOX Sports Radio and still getting better,” said Davis. “We’ve been doing radio together for LeBron’s whole career and we still have our hairlines! Despite 20 years together and my teams winning zero championships, I hope to have more to brag about in the next 20. Somehow, we still really enjoy each other’s company!”

In September 2021, the duo joined FSR as part of the network’s weekend football lineup, and a year later, they were promoted to a weekday timeslot. Today, a sports-focused Covino & Rich broadcasts weekdays from 5 to 7 p.m. ET/2 to 4 p.m. PT on more than 300 stations nationwide, in addition to FOX Sports Radio’s channel on iHeartRadio, which is available via iHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio app. The program features their unique take on the hot sports topics of the day, injected with their brand of humor, fun and relatability.
In September 2023, they added a new, original video series and podcast, Overpromised with Covino & Rich, which takes audiences on a wild ride through the hottest headlines, trends, and debates that didn't quite make it onto their daily radio show. With their finger on the pulse of what's trending, Covino and Rich bring their unique and entertaining spin on the highs and lows of the week's stories on Thursdays on FOX Sports Radio’s YouTube page, and the podcast is available on iHeartRadio and everywhere podcasts are heard.
Covino and Rich first partnered on Maxim Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio on December 15, 2004, to host Covino & Rich, a program covering lifestyle, relationships, sports, comedy, music and more.
