Jason Smith and Mike Harmon react to the news that the New York Jets have hired Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn to be their new head coach. Jason, a diehard Jets fan, is not only thrilled with the hire, viewing Glenn as an ideal selection for the job, but he's also confident in the fact that this means Aaron Rodgers will be returning as the team's quarterback next season.

Jason Smith: "The Jets got a win today. They actually got a win today, because they got the absolute right guy... This was [Glenn's] dream job. He knows New York. He knows Woody Johnson. He's a culture builder. He's a perfect fit, and now I'll guarantee you this: [Aaron] Rodgers is coming back. He's gonna be the starting quarterback of the Jets next season... Glenn is gonna want to come in and have a freebie year. It's a freebie year because he's inheriting Aaron Rodgers. If Rodgers is here and he stinks, okay, you move on, and now Glenn's married to the next quarterback. Then if the next quarterback for the Jets is not good, it'll be on Aaron Glenn. The Jets have bigger problems than Aaron Rodgers, and if you need a bridge guy anyway, it just makes sense."
Mike Harmon: "If you look at the quarterback landscape, there's not a whole lot out there. There's nobody you're chasing up the draft board to go get. Free agency is a mess -- you're not bringing back Sam Darnold, and you're not trading for Kirk Cousins because he's no better than what you've got [in Rodgers]."
