The Chicago Bulls parted ways with their head coach Fred Hoiberg last week due to the team having a 5-19 record after a few months into the season. Bulls promoted Jim Boylen to the position in the interim. Things aren't going well because they are currently 1-4 since the firing and also took an embarrassing loss to the Boston Celtics, 133-77.
The drama goes far beyond the court, and Ben Maller shares a story in the news about how Bulls players almost no-showed a practice after suffering that loss to the Celtics. The practice was described as military styled and due to players coming off a back-to-back they were so fed up they contacted NBA Players Association about it. Ben Maller can only describe that move by the Bulls players as soft. Listen below.
