When the Lakers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, Luke Walton addressed the media about the loss and the efforts of Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball saying:
"They're trying, but they're young, but, At some point, we need more passion. We need more fight. And that's not scoring more. That's more diving for loose balls, communicating loudly, grabbing rebounds."
Ben Maller couldn't agree more with Luke Walton's sentiments, and the team seemed to respond well to it since they came away with a victory against the Dallas Mavericks last night but in the long run, could these young players cost Luke Walton his job?
Maller explains how these players have been babied by the Lakers organization and why some cold-hard truth is good for them especially since Walton's job depends on it.
