Scary Old Footage of The Cooper River Bridge Will Take You Back

If the old Cooper River Bridge was still around today it would surely make the list of scariest bridges in America. Footage of the old bridge, which was posted to Facebook, shows one of the last rides across the Cooper right before it was closed in 2005.

The video shows just how terrifyingly narrow the old bridge used to be.

In 1995, the bridge scored only a 4% in public safety and was later replaced by the current 8 lane highway.
