Colin Cowherd Does an Entire Segment Acting Like He's Dak Prescott's Agent

Listen to Colin Cowherd discuss Dak Prescott’s perpetually exhausting contract negotiations with the Dallas Cowboys, as Colin does a segment as Dak’s agent trying to give advice to the 27-year-old still looking for his first big deal in the NFL.

The two-time Pro Bowler has gone 42-27 for his career but has seen himself be franchise-tagged the last two seasons. It was reported that last offseason Prescott turned down a five-year, $175 million offer that would have netted him $35 million per year.

Jane Slater had reported earlier in the week that Prescott was looking for $40+ million per season, and right under Patrick Mahomes’ league-leading deal worth $45 million.

Despite Prescott having a solid career thus far, his best year as a pro by far was his rookie season of 2016 when the team went 13-3 and Dak set a career-high in passer rating, with a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 23/4.

Prescott is 29-24 ever since, and 2019’s 8-8 season while failing to win the dismal NFC East may have been Dak’s most damaging year in terms of his perception around the league.

Check out the segment above as Colin tells Dak what he thinks his next moves should be.
