Listen to Colin Cowherd summarize EVERY Week 12 NFL game in just three words, as The Herd continues its weekly ‘3-Word Game’ every Monday.
Week 12 was largely uneventful besides the New England Patriots’ narrow 13-9 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in perhaps the worst weather game of the entire season thus far, and the shocking destruction of the Green Bay Packers at the hands of the suddenly scary San Francisco 49ers.
There were a lot of NFL fans jumping off the 49ers bandwagon after a string of bad games from Jimmy Garoppolo that included some ‘lucky’ wins, but the 37-8 blowout was one of the worst games of Aaron Rodgers’ storied careers, and put 10-1 San Francisco’s dominance over the rest of the conference back into conversation.
Dallas on the other hand, potentially lost the most important game of Jason Garrett’s career, as it appear it’s only a matter of time before the Cowboys part ways with the perpetually underachieving head coach.
Dak Prescott posted an ugly 15.3 QBR game and essentially ended any hopes he had at winning the MVP.
Other storylines worth mentioning was the Jets massacre of the Raiders, the downfall of Carson Wentz, the comeback of Ryan Tannehill, and the end of Ryan Finley.
