Colin Cowherd: Mitch Trubisky Should Not Have Been Drafted in the 1st Round

Colin Cowherd: “Despite what Cris Collinsworth of NBC told you last night, Mitch Trubisky is NOT a franchise quarterback. It’s not just about inconsistency he’s got one of the weaker arms in the NFL, and is not a great natural thrower of the football. How in God’s name can you draft Trubisky, a nice kid, over Deshaun Watson?? They played in the same conference and faced each other; what were people watching!? He wasn’t a franchise quarterback or a first round quarterback and it’s time to move on, Chicago.” (Full Audio at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks the Chicago Bears need to move on from former number two overall pick Mitch Trubisky, as the embattled quarterback who was infamously drafted ahead of Pro Bowlers Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson could potentially be OUT of Chicago when his rookie deal is up after next season.

Colin says he still doesn’t understand where the hype came from around Trubisky in 2016 as a guy who only started one season for an unremarkable 8-5 North Carolina Tar Heels team.

Check out the audio below as Colin details why the Bears need to bring in another starting quarterback next season, and end the Trubisky experiment while the team still has a deep roster of defensive talent, and a coaching staff that is created offensively.
