Chris Broussard: Kobe Bryant's Death is the Worst Sports Tragedy of My Life

Chris Broussard: “This is the worst experience I’ve ever had during my lifetime around sports. Magic Johnson would have been second for me, but his became a redemption story. The suddenness and the finality of this -- like it keeps hitting me that Kobe is gone and he’s not coming back. He’s not sick, and we’re not seeing him here and there – it really hits me like a gut punch. What made it so devastating for me, was this was a guy who had transitioned from basketball to life after basketball as smoothly, seamlessly, and successfully, as anyone I’ve ever seen. He did more in those 3 years than many athletes do in their entire lifetime.” (Full Audio Above)
