Colin Cowherd: Tom Brady Belongs in a Dallas Cowboys Uniform

Colin Cowherd: “Derek Jeter doesn’t look the same in an Oakland A’s uniform and Troy Aikman doesn’t look in the same in a Jaguars uniform. Part of their imagery and part of their dynamic appearance is playing for the Yankees or the Cowboys… If Dak continues to ask for top of the market money, just look at Tom Brady in a Cowboys uniform for an owner like Jerry Jones --- OH MY GOD. That’s the number one merchandise seller in the league and would be A-Rod to the Yankees x 10 and LeBron to the Lakers x 5. It looks right. You don’t think ‘looks’ matter? Jerry has an art gallery in their stadium! Right now, Brady is a better quarterback, and do you understand the merchandise this would create? This is Ronaldo to Barcelona. Optics matter. These companies spend millions of dollars on optics and you’ve got a free agent legend for a two-year deal. Brady wants $30 million. If Dak wants $38 million I’m NOT doing it. New England doesn’t have a history of acquiring weapons and Dallas ALWAYS has weapons. I would surrender part of my contract for this to happen and move the show to Dallas!” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why the Dallas Cowboys should strongly consider signing free agent Tom Brady if contract negotiations with insistent quarterback Dak Prescott continue to hit a snag.

Colin says Brady to the Cowboys would be one of the most monumental moves in sports history, and could totally picture Jerry Jones, one of the greatest businessman and showman the world of sports has ever seen, making a run for the greatest football player of all time to wear the Dallas star on his helmet.

Colin says Brady staring at a state with zero income tax on a team with limitless weapons has to make you believe he’d sign with Dallas if given an offer.

Check out the video above as Colin details why he would rather have Brady on a two-year deal worth $30 million a season, than Dak asking for $38 million per year.
