Jerry Jones Will Eventually Cave to Dak Prescott's Contract Demands

Doug Gottlieb: “Jerry ALWAYS gives in, especially to his star players. You know it, I know it, and everyone knows it. You know who else knows it? DAK PRESCOTT. Jerry ‘talks the talk’ but doesn’t ‘walk the walk’. He didn’t make Ezekiel Elliott hurt and he didn’t make Emmitt Smith hurt, he GAVE IN, and it’s who Jerry Jones is. Heck, Dez Bryant will probably be back with the Cowboys next year because he gives in and wants to take care of his guys… Dak isn’t great and I’d like to think I wouldn’t pay him top dollar, and I’d like to think Jerry Jones won’t pay him top dollar – BUT HE WILL.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Doug Gottlieb explain why he believes Dak Prescott will ultimately come out a major winner in free agency, as the polarizing Dallas Cowboys quarterback is locked into a game of chicken with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Prescott finished second in the league in passing yards and fourth in QBR but the Cowboys finished 8-8 in a puny NFC East Division, and were arguably the most disappointing team in the league.

Prescott reportedly turned down a $30 million per season offer last offseason, and is expected to be looking for a contract upwards of $35 million per year.

Check out the video above as Gottlieb details why Prescott is definitely not worth that amount of money, but also explains why still believes Jerry will bend the knee for his incessant quarterback.
