Colin Cowherd: “I’m not going to give this story a lot of time because it’s nonsense, but LeBron says he considered playing in the NFL during the 2011 lockout. Oh, stop. LeBron was All-State in Ohio. Of course, a 6’8”, 225-pound wide receiver dominated 5’9” corners in Ohio in high school… LeBron isn’t a physical guy. He doesn’t want to play center. He doesn’t want to go down low. He’ll drive on smaller players, he wants to shoot threes. He’s never gotten into a fight in 15 years in the league, and he doesn’t even move toward them, he moves away. He’s big and strong but he’s not a fighter. He’s a lover, not a fighter. He’s not a physical player. He’ll take on smaller guys and drive to the basket, but rim protectors like Roy Hibbert have bothered him. In the NFL you gotta love to get hit, or like to hit and that’s not who LeBron is… You have to have the mentality to play football, it’s not just because you’re big.” (Full Video Above)
