Why the Washington Football Team Will Trade Dwayne Haskins at the Deadline

Jason Smith: “With Le’Veon Bell gone, it’s now ‘who is the next guy that could end up being let go or traded?’ I’ll tell you exactly who it’s going to be. It’s going to be Dwayne Haskins. Sometime in the next couple of weeks Washington will move on and trade Dwayne Haskins. Haskins didn’t show you last year that he could be 'The Guy'. It happened with Josh Rosen and the Cardinals made that same gutsy move to say ‘Sorry Josh, we like Kyler Murray’ and look where the Cardinals are now? They are imminently happy that they made that work, and Rosen is trying to keep his career going. Haskins had attitude issues last year, and he’s had attitude issues this year. He’s not been good on the football field, and Ron Rivera demoted him to third string because it got so bad, and basically said ‘you don’t have a future with Washington.’ The first thing the new coach did was bring in a quarterback, Kyle Allen. This should have been the moment where Washington said ‘we’re going to move on from Dwayne Haskins.’ They drafted second overall, how did they not take Tua?? You fell in love with Chase Young when you could have drafted a franchise quarterback.” (Full Segment Above)

Listen to Jason Smith explain why he thinks the Washington Football Team will move second-year quarterback Dwayne Haskins before the NFL's Trade Deadline on November 3rd, as Smith believes Washington needs to ‘Josh Rosen’ the former 15th overall pick.

Check out the audio above as Smith details why Washington is still kicking themselves for not drafting Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa with the number two pick last season, instead of taking Ohio State defensive end Chase Young.
