Colin Cowherd: “Odell Beckham Jr. never connected with Baker Mayfield, that according to Ian Rapoport. There is a real possibility he’s played his final game with the Browns, Rapoport reported Sunday morning. According to him, Beckham never fully embraced Cleveland, never had a good rapport with Baker Mayfield, and they may play better without him. For the record, somebody in Odell Beckham’s social circle told that me Baker and OBJ – they don’t just connect. Nobody to blame, nobody is taking shots at anybody, it’s just not really good.” (Full Segment Above)
Listen to Colin Cowherd discuss NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport’s recent report that said Odell Beckham Jr. and Baker Mayfield never had much chemistry on a personal level in Cleveland, as Rapoport said that Beckham Jr. 'never embraced' Cleveland in the two years he’s been there.
Beckham Jr. will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL, and some believe he may have played his last game as a member of the Browns.
Beckham played two seasons for the Browns, averaging just 58.9 yards per game. Way down from the 92.8 per game he averaged in five seasons with the Giants.
Beckham still has three years left on his contract after 2020 (2021, 2022, 2023), earning an average of $14 million in those three seasons.
Check out the video above as Colin says that a person in OBJ’s social circle told Colin last summer that the two players ‘just don’t connect.’
