Pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's relationship appears to have inspired an upcoming Hallmark movie.
The Chiefs announced the upcoming original movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, in partnership with Hallmark, the NFL and Skydance Sports in a news release shared on Tuesday (June 25). The holiday movie will star Tyler Hynes, Hunter King and Ed Begley Jr. and film entirely in Kansas City, Missouri, including GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, when production begins in July.
"With Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs both homegrown, rooted in values, tradition and community, there is a special alchemy between these two iconic organizations," said Hallmark Chief Brand Officer Darren Abbott. "By blending the warmth of Hallmark storytelling with the excitement of professional football, we are thrilled to give audiences a front-row seat to this community's spirit, rich traditions and passionate fans that define Kansas City, all wrapped up in the comforting and uplifting Hallmark way."

The film's plot isn't exactly based on Swift and Kelce's relationship, however, it's presumed to have inspired the film given the Chiefs' involvement. Tuesday's announcement didn't specify whether the couple was involved in any way.
Swift and Kelce, both 34, went public with their relationship last September when the singer was seen with the tight end's mother, Donna, in a VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium during the Chiefs' blowout win against the Chicago Bears, the first time she attended one of his games following relationship rumors. The three-time Super Bowl champion famously revealed that he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number when he attended her concert at Arrowhead Stadium prior to their relationship last summer.
Swift later said that Kelce "very adorably put me on blast" when he acknowledged the situation on his New Heights podcast, which she said "was metal as hell" while being featured as Time Magazine's 'Person of the Year' in December 2023.
