Aaron Rodgers Has Become Too Insufferable For Any Coach to Deal With

Colin Cowherd: “Aaron Rodgers’ fingertips are all over the Robert Saleh firing. Let’s be clear, this is Aaron Rodgers having his second coach fired. I’m not going to bang on him for that, but his whole brand now is ‘lack of trust.’ He doesn’t trust the government, he doesn’t trust Saleh, he doesn’t trust the media... He’s become very ‘alternative.’ Elway, Brady, Manning, and Mahomes have brands within a system. They sacrifice, they don’t bury their coach at the podium. I’m all for personality, Gronk told you ‘Bill would get mad at me’ and he laughed about. Aaron doesn’t laugh about that stuff. It’s snark a mile long. He is not a conformist – he is anti-authority and he’s proud of it.
You don’t have to love your head coach, but time, and time, and time again it’s Aaron at the podium firing back, and making sure everybody knows that HE doesn’t take the hit. The all-time greats understood you could have a personality but it’s a conformist league for coaches and quarterbacks.
Aaron Rodgers since 2022 is not very good. Since 2022 he has an 88 passer rating. That’s who Aaron is. Couple games with three interceptions, zero games throwing over 300 yards. The last two weeks Aaron has had the lowest passer rating in the NFL. The ‘non-conformist’, it’s not working. This is what Aaron has become. I’m not going to crush him for getting a coach fired. Magic did, Elway did, LeBron has done it several times... But what he’s become is what I’ve been saying for the last three years – he's just not very good.”

Listen to Colin Cowherd of FS1’s The Herd rip Aaron Rodgers for the sinking of the New York Jets franchise, as Colin says the conceited and ‘alternative non-conformist' Rodgers eventually become too insufferable for now-fired Jets head coach Robert Saleh to deal with.

Check out the segment above as Colin details why the biggest problem with the Jets’ plight in 2024 is simply because Rodgers isn’t very good anymore and no one in the Jets organization is willing to admit it
