Colin Cowherd: Dak Prescott's Contract Demands Are Getting Delusional Now

Colin Cowherd: “Jane Slater is a reporter I trust. Yesterday on The Dan Patrick Show she said her sources are telling her that Dak is not budging on his salary demands. Is it possible that ‘devoted and dependable Dak' has become ‘delusional Dak’?... Let’s remember that in his last 17 starts Dak Prescott is 6-11. They were 5-5 with Andy Dalton last year if you count the game he came in and led them to a win against the New York Giants. He was 8-8 in 2019, 6-11 his last 17 starts, and in games he started and finished last year he was 1-3. I’m not in any way insinuating that Dalton is better than Dak, but if Dak is saying this morning ‘I’m worth Patrick Mahomes money’, I’m going to struggle with that. I like Dak, but that’s dependable and devoted Dak to DELUSIONAL Dak. You gotta kind of know the temperature in the room when you go into contract negotiations… If he sees himself in Mahomes’ money class, maybe that’s why Jerry Jones will franchise him again.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Dak Prescott has begun to enter a state of ‘delusion’ if recent reports are true that the Cowboys quarterback is asking for a $40+ million per year contract bordering right under Patrick Mahomes money.

Check out the video above as Colin details why Dak needs to ‘know the temperature in the room’ a bit better if he’s ever going to be taken seriously in contract negotiations.
