Emmanuel Acho Predicts the Buccaneers to Win the NFC South

Emmanuel Acho: “I think he [Baker Mayfield] will [win the NFC South]. This will be one of the easier things Baker Mayfield has had to do in his professional football career. I mean, if you won 11 games in a division with Ben Roethlisberger, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow, I would HOPE that you could win a division with Bryce Young, Desmond Ridder, and Derek Carr. Derek Carr, for as much as I love him, he’s an outstanding individual, he is a phenomenal human being, but I think he has two playoff appearances in his career and not that many winning seasons. Derek Carr is a very good quarterback but for whatever reason it doesn’t amount to wins, or at least it hasn’t amounted to wins for Derek Carr.” (Full Segment Above)

Despite the Tampa Bay Buccaneers heading into the 2023 season without Tom Brady, ‘Speak’ host Emmanuel Acho isn’t counting the Bucs out in a lightweight NFC South division with two young and unproven quarterbacks, Desmond Ridder and Bryce Young, and a underachieving veteran in Derek Carr with zero playoff wins to his name.

Check out the segment above as Acho details why he has faith in Baker Mayfield and a Bucs roster who will still bring back its talented core of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Lavonte David, Vita Vea, Tristan Wirfs, Devin White, and Antoine Winfield Jr., with Acho mentioning Baker already have an 11-win season on his resume in a loaded AFC North.
