The o-line is bad, Saquon is hurt again, Daniel Jones is overpaid and pretty mediocre. ‘BAD’ means a better draft pick and it’s the best college quarterback draft class I’ve ever seen. I would draft another quarterback. Quarterbacks are gold bars, you can move down in the draft and get 2nds, 3rds, 4ths. The roster, receiving group, offensive line, quarterbacks... THIS AIN’T IT. Brian Daboll can’t even solve this. Josh Allen got better every year because Josh Allen had an enormous ceiling. He made Daniel Jones ‘better’, he didn’t make him ‘great’, or ‘very good.’ Daboll can’t solve this, and he’s probably considered a top 6 or 7 offensive guy in this league. There’s always desperate NFL teams. Daniel Jones is big, they say he’s smart, he’s athletic, and you can get out of the contract in 2025. You can absolutely move Daniel Jones. You may not get what you want but you reached for him with the no. 6 pick in the first round. Maybe you only get a 3rd or 4th rounder but the Niners moved Trey Lance. You don’t think the Giants can move a guy who made the playoffs last year? All the top 5 prospects this year are considered better prospects than Daniel Jones was. If you have the 20-23rd best quarterback and now he’s expensive, the good news is that the quarterback draft class is really strong. You can move him, get out of that contract. This isn't working. I can spend all day banging on the o-line, banging on the receivers, banging on Daniel Jones, but it ain’t working. Your standard for the New York Giants isn’t putting up Wild Card banners. [They have] a better history than all but about five teams.”
