In honor of the Oscars over the weekend, listen to Colin Cowherd and Joy Taylor give out the NBA’s midseason awards in a segment that includes Best Player in a Supporting Role, Best International Player, Achievement in Wardrobe, Best Shot, Best New Artist, Worst Team Mixing, Best Director, Best Player in a Starring Role, and Best Picture.
The NBA season has largely been predictable this season with the Lakers, Bucks, and Clippers emerging as the league’s three most dominant teams and three most imposing title contenders, but 2020 has also seen its fair share of intrigue.
Whether it’s the two larger than life rookies of Zion Williamson and Ja Morant, a 20-year Luka Doncic taking the sport by storm, the ‘Greek Freak’ Giannis Antetokounmpo cementing himself as the game’s most dominant player, the Houston Rockets going with an unprecedented form of ‘small ball’ that could be the staple of the sport for years to come, or the incredible rise of the Toronto Raptors from the pitiable ashes of the lottery all the way to the top of the Eastern Conference, this NBA season has gotten more interesting with every passing week.
Check out the video above as Colin hands out his awards for the 2019/2020 season ,and even has another submission as a possible new logo.
