Colin Cowherd Says Tom Brady to 49ers Makes Sense: 'He's Done With Tampa'

Colin Cowherd: “Tom Brady is no longer tired of football, he’s tired of Tampa Bay. He yells more, he’s angrier more, his body language is very Aaron Rodgers, he goes to the bench by himself, he barks at teammates, he’s frustrated… Brady is Mr. Discipline and the Bucs, I used to cover them, have been perpetually squirrely my entire life. It was always an odd fit, but now he’s divorced, there’s no Gronk, he’s got a defensive coach— three years on this pirate ship at sea, scurvy is setting in, there’s a mutiny, and they’ve run out of fresh avocados, it’s just not pretty. Tom Brady looks like every person leaving a company in about three months-- the company doesn’t know it, and you’re just putting in the minimum work, you’re getting frustrated more, you leave work early, you still want to be productive, you don’t want to ruin your reputation, but Brady is done with Tampa. You can’t help but watch Brady last night and think about the San Francisco 49ers next season. Brock Purdy, I think he’s the answer ‘now’, but next year? Big picture? Probably not the future for Kyle Shanahan, who to win a Super Bowl would have to outduel an Aaron Rodgers, a Joe Burrow, a Mahomes, a Josh Allen… I don’t think he’s gonna go equipped with Josh Purdy. Tom Brady after the game looked like he’s not tired with football, he’s tired of the squirrely, perpetually odd, off the rails Tampa Bay Bucs.” (Full Segment Above)

Watch Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Tom Brady will stave off retirement another year and take his talents to San Francisco in 2023, coming off a week in which the 49ers lost Jimmy Garoppolo for the rest of the regular season, and Brady pulled of one of the greatest comebacks of his career.
