Colin Cowherd: “Green Bay moves off Aaron Rodgers, gets two first round picks, plays Jordan Love, he goes to Tennessee and Mike Vrabel. Burrow, Allen, Herbert Mahomes— you can’t do it with Tannehill. Mike Vrabel now makes the calls in that organization, he swings big and gets Aaron Rodgers.”
During a segment in which Colin Cowherd and Jason McIntyre were predicting how the 2023 offseason ‘Quarterback Carousel’ would shake out, Colin listed his ‘bold prediction’ as Aaron Rodgers being traded to the Tennessee Titans for two first round picks.
The move would finally purge Tennessee of Ryan Tannehill, who the team has an out with after this season, and would give the Packers the opportunity to finally feature former first round pick Jordan Love, who played well a month ago in mop-up duty against Philadelphia, when he went 6/9 for 113 yards a touchdown.
Tennessee has elected to start unheralded backup Joshua Dobbs in their win-and-in game vs. Jacksonville on Saturday, and appear to have already given up on 2022 third round-pick Malik Willis, who has posted an ugly 50.8% completion percentage in three starts, with three interceptions, and zero passing touchdowns.
Rodgers turned 39 in early December and is posting the lowest yards per game average of his entire career as a starter, but does have 25 touchdowns compared to 11 touchdowns for a Packers team who has won four straight games and primed to make the playoffs with a win over the Lions on Sunday Night Football.
